My Friend iPad

You may recall that I got an iPad for Christmas.  What a sweetheart!  And so talented.  Here she is gardening:

Do you like her cute wool coat?  (It's actually an iPad sleeve, but she likes "coat" so we call it a coat.)  My sister and her fabulous daughter designed and made it.  You can learn all about it at my niece's blog.

You should see iPad when it's time to go for a ride in the car.  She gets so excited.

She also loves to play with Scout.  But don't even start on tug-of-war.  You'll be there all day!

Here she is going for a walk.  This winter has been very mild, but she always insists on her "coat" when she goes outside.  (I think she's a little vain.)

When it is time for work, though, she's gets right to it.

Although, frankly, all she really wants to do is watch Netflix.

Chieftess: Why are you iPad lame? So far, I haven't had any problems, but maybe I'm not trying to do anything too complicated.

Des: Love Downton Abbey, but right now I am working my way through all of Arrested Development.

I don't get the whole ap thing...and for some reason, I haven't been able to figure out the book thing either!!! Then there's the photography thing which really gets me...(I shoot in raw so my files are huge!)

And I LOVE Downton Abbey!!!

Rois: You might be less green if you saw the inside of our small two bedroom house. My 14 year old has moved into the dining room so she can have her own room.

Chieftess: About the apps. I haven't had a problem, but I have to admit that my hubby (who is a crazy Apple dude) loaded a bunch of apps for me. I haven't had a problem with the book thing. You do have to have an iTunes account so that you can buy books. You can get a lot of free books, but you still need that account for some reason. I don't use the camera, so I haven't had that issue. Go to the genius bar! Let them help you.

Well, now all the electronic devices are gonna want to be dressed in fancy coats.

Of course it gardens, what electronic device doesn't? But for the dirty jobs -- weeding, fertilizing -- you need to hire something that is desperate for work. A Dell, for example.

Not if you want it done right Hiker!!!

Unfortunately Margaret...no Genius bar up here...which is why I haven't figured it out!!! I need to set up a telephone appt but just haven't...Glad you're up to par with your new friend!!!

Well, if I had such a pretty coat I'd want to wear it all the time too. I'm so glad that iPad and Scout get along ok.

Olga: so true. You should hear my phone grumble.

AH: my slow cooker will weed sometime, but as you might guess, it takes forever.

Chieftess: email me. If it is something easy maybe we can talk over the phone, You won't have to wait as long.

The best thing about lunching with my friends recently has been sharing iPad and iPhone apps information. The people around us probably think we're gossiping, but that's so last century. You and I definitely need to lunch soon as you seem to have more Apps than I do. And I could give you some iPad crochet jacket instructions.

LOL that is hilarious. If you start taking pictures of your "friend" at various tourist attractions, I'm going to get worried:) Actually no, I'd laugh harder. Go for it!

I haven't really wanted an iPad until seeing it wrapped in that adorable wool coat. Your niece is very talented. So is the iPad. And always a pleasure to see Scout.
