I keep forgetting to add this link to some very cool and clever artwork. The artist is Terry Strickland and this is her work on myths and fairytales. My favorite is Pandora.
Many thanks to Shanna, who led me to this link. She is a pretty amazing artist herself. Check out her blog capturing skyscapes here.
How about a goddess' white furry sow? One (reputedly) indicated the right location for founding Milan, Italy: http://mymilanitaly.blogspot.com/2010/10/why-here-blame-it-on-furry-sow.html Enjoy! Star
I like to think of this blog as a virtual sort of spa day or night out with friends. We relax, we laugh, and we get a little perspective from the goddesses and wise women who've come before us. So exhale, slip off your shoes, and turn off the phone. It's time to Begin Again.
Buy The Goddess Lounge ebook for only $2.99 and the paperback for only $9.99. What an amazing deal!
A story of love, motherhood, a lot of dogs, tons of traffic, a few modern-day monsters, and a little divine intervention.

It's always fun to visit new sites...thanks for the links, Margaret! xo
I took a look at Terry's artwork. Now if we could only pair her images with your stories, what a book we'd have!
Very cool artwork! Love Hestia and Gaea, but the others are just as nice!
I like the "What's one little kiss?" It fills me with expectation, and a certain chill! what if nothing happens! :-D
Interesting stuff. Rapunzel's Dilemma caught my eye.
Coincidentally, have you done anything with the goddess Hina (Polynesian)? There's a dreamlike painting of her by Gauguin.
They're all wonderful, fanciful. I love what she does with light. Shanna is terrific, too, and a sweetheart as well.
I love the Rapunzel! And Shanna ~ well, what a talented sweetie.
I like that they're not over the top or all sappy over sentimental.
Jean: I don't know about Hina. I'll add her to the list. Thanks.
Wonderful art!!! And a wonderful blog of pictures! Thanks for the suggestions!
Aren't there any modern goddesses with names like Jen or Carol? If not, there should be. Let's make some up.
