OMG! Blog Winners Announced--It's Totally Exciting, but Contain your Enthusiasm

The Winner Takes It AllImage via WikipediaWell, friends, I know you are totally excited to see if you won my blog contest. I know that you've barely been sleeping, eating, or even breathing because all you could think about was having your very own winsome goddess pack that would help you through your darkest, deepest drama queen moments.

First, let me give you the bad news. You probably did not win. There could only be two winners, after all, and like maybe four people entered. So, you know, the odds weren't in your favor.

Instead, the odds favored Susan Campisi and Bellis, two local readers who you should never bet against because they win everything. Susan, for example, recently won plumbing and fencing problems. I'm sure Bellis has been just as lucky, but she's more discreet about these things so there's no telling what kinds of windfalls she's had to duck out of the way out.

Because, early on, Vanda was being difficult, Susan and Bellis have a choice. They can each choose before the aforementioned winsome goddess pack or a homemade chocolate cake. But, Bellis and Susan, don't ask for both. You can't have your cake and your goddess too.

So, ok, ladies, what will it be?

(PS: Thanks to all of you who entered my contest, especially newbies who added me to their RSS feed. I appreciate your support.)

I'll lick my wounds and take this loss with grace. But another time, want to hear the story of your grandfather.

Well, hooray for Susan and Bellis! Throw chocolate cake into the equation and that's a formidable choice to have to make.

Congratulations to the winners! Will they let you share their goddess choices with us?! (With discretion, of course!)

Oh my! How exciting! As much as I love chocolate cake, I'm in desperate need of a pack of goddesses. I've been having, well, not the best week and this just turned things around. Thanks, Margaret!

Yeah, Susan. A goddess pack it is. Now we must choose you a goddess. What do you need or want a goddess for? Be profligate!

I'm still waiting for someone to take up my prize offer over on Mystery History. Maybe we can throw that into the gift basket too

I'm so scattered this week - too much to do, not enough time or energy to do it. I'm too exhausted to focus on my big dreams. I don't have time to write. I feel like my life is slipping away from me and it's getting me down.

That wasn't profligate; that was whiny. Sorry, everyone, for the morning vent. (And thank you all for the congratulations. Congrats to Bellis!)

Maybe I need a goddess to help me create a life with more space for writing, one that can help me be more focused. Is that boring? I feel like a genie in a bottle has offered me three wishes and I have to get them right. Am I wasting my goddess pack on a mundane wish?!

Susan: I think you are channeling me right now! I love your goddess request. I need it too. I will get right on it. I'm very excited. This may take a week or two.

So I am not the only one? We can all share the goddess magic! The mere promise of one helps me feel more grounded. Thank you, Margaret.

congrats to the winners, and have a nice day! ^_^

We can all use that goddess, Susan, yet I especially want you and Margaret to find her. If that's whining, fine. You mustn't let your big dreams slip away. I think everyone here would agree with that.

Wow, what a way to start the morning! I'm a winner!!! It's not often that happens, so I'm chuffed. Thank you, thank you. And congratulations to Susan also.

I can't decide about the prize yet - is there a goddess to help with indecision?

By the way, I thought your previous blog was all about me when I saw the title: "Meet my blog friend Daisy and her human transcriber Barbara" because Bellis is Latin for Daisy. And I guess I'm Bellis's human transcriber. Or am I? ....

When I saw the Abba picture it confirmed that you and I were meant to be friends . . . congrats to the winners.

As I can't have both a cake and a goddess, I'd like the cake, please, and I'll share it with Susan.Yum yum, thank you, Margaret.

It's been a good day for my friends. Karin won the Mystery History today!
