Oh Margaret, this is not going to go over well with Santa, because of one word. You GOT your husband soup? Got? As in store-bought? You didn't MAKE it? Oh it'll be fascinating to see what direction this goes in now.
This reminds me of a boyfriend I had in my Chicago days. He called one night in such pain he was almost screaming. I could barely understand him. He wanted me to take the el train, after midnight, in the freezing cold, to come and take care of him. I told him I would call an ambulance because he sounded so freaked out. He was really pissed. It was the beginning of the end of our relationship. All he had was a mild flu.
Sooooo...what's wrong with Lipton's??? I always have a box of the original Lipton soup handy for just such occasions...if I have spinach or green onions, I add that, maybe a zucchini...or even an egg...it's good enough for me...I figure if the man with the man cold can't handle it...oh well!!!
(I think I need to keep a roll of paper towels next to my computer for future spewing needs...just sayin')
I like to think of this blog as a virtual sort of spa day or night out with friends. We relax, we laugh, and we get a little perspective from the goddesses and wise women who've come before us. So exhale, slip off your shoes, and turn off the phone. It's time to Begin Again.
Buy The Goddess Lounge ebook for only $2.99 and the paperback for only $9.99. What an amazing deal!
A story of love, motherhood, a lot of dogs, tons of traffic, a few modern-day monsters, and a little divine intervention.

But what is it homemade chicken soup? I think Santa would demand nothing less for a hubby with a man cold.
Ummm... make that "was" not "what is."
I'm out of coffee and tea just isn't doing the trick.
I also think Wolfgang Puck wood make a good Santa Claus. Can you imagine him with the women, uh, I mean, the "HohoHoHo's!"
Hope the soup, which I'm sure was delicious, does the trick on that "man cold" and all are soon well again.
Oh thank God. ;o)

At least she brings home bacon.
I defend you, Margaret! See?

I think you're a saint, Margaret.
It was store bought soup, but fresh store bought soup. Sigh. That Santa is tough to please.
