Goddess Lounge Book Trailer Winner

Congratulations to Cyndel, winner of the Goddess Lounge Book Trailer Contest.  Here is her picture.

As several people noted, Cyndel depicts a really positive model of aging, one that is active, energetic and eager to learn new things.  Here she is welding, a new art that has become interested in.

I want to thank, once more, everyone who sent me a picture.  The pictures that were not included in the first trailer will be in the second one, which will come out soon.

I also want to thank everyone for their comments and support.  I should tell you, that I feel sorry for everyone who knows me right now.  This whole book business has made me crazy.  I vacillate from feeling confident that the book will find an audience and that people will enjoy it to feeling fear and disappointment that no one will find the book, that it will get lost in the sea of books that exists, and that even if they find the book they will read it and go, "eh."  I admire people who can move full stream ahead without doubt.  What would that be like, I wonder?  How do you deal with these kind of things? Are you the type who can move forward and never look back?  Or do you second guess yourself and even sometimes paralyze yourself with doubt?

Viva Cyndel!

Don't worry--move full steam ahead with doubt. It means you're self-aware.

And we're all ro0ting for you!

Keep moving forward. And like Desiree said we are all rooting for you! Be a Goddess.

I fill my self with self doubt over things to the point of panic sometimes.I try to stop myself with a reminder that my self doubt is really my fearful Mother's voice whispering not mine.I can be a Goddess with my own voice and choices.

Congrats to Cyndel for her lively anti-aging photo!

So many books, magazines, newspapers, etc., so little readers. If only they had the readers that textbooks have! Good luck to Go along with your Good Writing, Gooddess!

Yay, Cyndel!

Denise says it well. You go!

I can't wait to see/hear the long trailer.

Doing something significant is always scary. ("Rooting for you" was the first thing that sprang to my mind, too.)

I think it's normal to doubt. The winners (as others here have noted) are those who get on with their desires despite doubt. We are all behind you and excited for you!

It's natural to have those ups and downs. Keep taking action and focus on the things you can do. And whenever you feel those doubts, Margaret, remember we're cheering you on. No matter what, you're doing something and not just sitting around hoping. The universe sees those things. And what a lovely representative for your first trailer!

A very worthy goddess in Cyndel, without a doubt. Now, you let your inner goddess get out there to shine.

LOVE the photo of Cyndel and I agree that she represents a fabulous modern day goddess {plus I've always wanted to learn how to weld so I'm a little envious}.

As for self-doubt, well, I'm sure there's a goddess for that, Margaret! And you wouldn't be human if you didn't have some doubt and worry. I agree with Shell Sherree in that at least you're doing SOMETHING! And I do believe that this "something" is very worthy. Haha - knowing me I would be putting sticky notes all over the place that read "assume the best!" and "believe in good things!" You have two choices here: enjoy it, or totally freak out. I vote enjoy!

Yay for Cyndel! Her smile shows she's a goddess on a joyful path.

I'm firmly in the self-doubt camp but that makes the experience all the more thrilling when I plow through my fears. I don't do that nearly enough, but you, Margaret, are doing it. And we're all on the goddess train with you. Way to go!

I'm off to the beach with the family for Father's Day, but I want you to know how much your reassurance helps. I really appreciate it.

Congrats Cyndel! (I voted for her! :))

Margaret - I think YOU need a goddess! Who's the goddess for making millions and hitting the New York Times Bestseller list?! Because I'd like to channel her, too! ;)

At least you've started, Margaret. I talk myself out of these things - like starting a blog - before I've even begun. And you WILL succeed, wait and see. You're doing all the right things and have a great product to sell.

PS It's hard proving I'm not a robot.
