I hope you'll click on over to the flash fiction website Rose City Sisters and read my just posted story "Death Dealer (Or Bob Strikes Back)." Clocking in at less than 500 words, it is the dramatic, spine-tingling follow up to my story "Sweet Revenge. It's just right for Halloween.

O k, I'll r e a d it MF. B u t, 1st let me take some anti-anxiety meds cuz you look like you can bee real scary.
This dog doesn't like to be the one getting scared, but 4 U...
I'm heading over ...
Brrrrr...
Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...
Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrilliant!!!! :-)
I'm with Cafe and get spooked easily. Maybe after a glass or two of something - like on Halloween.
I'll have to put on a costume, though. Let's see. Now where did I put that witch hat?
Photo makes me a little sad. When I lived on a main street in East LA, Halloween would practically break me financially. Now I'm lucky if I get one or two kids.
I enjoyed part two of your story and put a comment over on the Rose City Blog
Shanna, you DON'T look like a Witch! Who's telling you that? (Hopefully, not certain family members, who I won't name)
Butt IF you did, then I wood start raking in all the $Dough$ with putting on the look!
Me, 4 instance, people will say I look like a Dog. Well, yes, and uh, thanks for the compliment!
I want you to read it aloud in the dark with a flashlight under your chin!
Sorry, I don't 'do' scary stuff ~ far too wussy ~ and you write so well, Margaret, I'm not going to brave it lest it render me sleepless.
Cafe: Let's see now. Actually some former students DID tell me that I looked like a Witch. I took it as a compliment.
My housekeeper once brought in a photo of Morticia. Wow! A dead (sorry) ringer for my look at that time.
But... that was long ago and now...well it takes the hat to do the trick. But it's still a treat when someone sees it!
I'm going there right now!
Always like your stories!
Love love love the stories.
Excellent combination of horror and comedy.
I do get a Hansel&Gretel feeling from it, though. The lady awaits with sugary (toxic?) treats...
...and this mixes into the post on Mictecacihuatl:
"...when confronting goblins, ghosts and wee little beasties..." such as is likely to happen on Halloween.
Brrr.
Good Work Heidi! Serves the jerk right! You GO, Girl!
Thanks for reading my story, everyone. What a writer wants is an audience, so thanks for being my audience. If my titled scared you away, I should explain that it's not really scary. I was teasing. Montag: I'm so glad you got the wicked witch part. I was hoping people would see how passive aggressively naughty Heidi is. I don't really feel sorry for Bob though. He ate her cake.
