All signs point to mixed results in the local market this quarter:
Dropped food is down again, owing, in large part, to continued improvement in hand-eye coordination among the youth market. Dropped broccoli, however, continues at historic levels.
An upswing in TV watching has resulted in a disappointing decline in walkies but increased opportunities for belly rubs.
Lastly, communication problems continue to put a damper on snack consumption. Eyes on the treat box mean gimme. How obvious can it be lady?

Haha! Cute dog and super cute post! :) I love it when dogs take over blogs!
Thank you for the ground level reporting...er or Thank you Scout!
If broccoli is an indicator, it must mean brussel sprouts are slipping to the same fate by index. Fie!
Hahahahaha. If Scout complains, tell her it's a dog eat dog world. That shuts mine up.
SOOOOO cute!!! I want a dog.
It is quite wonderous how well our pets can communicate.
Is this a new pup? I loved this, and hope we'll see more of these Scout Reports! What a great perspective to look at life.
Scout's great: speaks truth to power.
When our old dog Thora is hungry she dose this little dance and I swear upon my childrens lives that she says plain as day "hungry".
Thora is awesome but little dog Sparrow, she's a love hate kind of relationship.
I know just how you feel Scout. Sometimes humans just don't know what they should be dropping. And communication with humans ... pffftt! they are sooo dense sometimes.
But keep trying. Their hearts are in the right place and they try so hard to do the right thing.
Funny! Brought back happy childhood memories of my own dog, who wasn't allowed to beg AT the table...UNDER the table, though, that's just sittin' and hangin' out, right? Heh heh heh, when our dad decided that the whole family would become vegetarian umpteen decades ago, and the meat substitutes were still horrible,...sniff sniff sniff [turns head, and pretends to be thinking about fire hydrants]... not even the dog would eat them! (The vegetarianism didn't last long.)
Yes! More Scout reports, please. She's obviously an excellent communicator, not to mention photogenic.
Oh, hahaha!! One of my favourites, Margaret! Scout has a most appropriate name, given such talents.
mlle: Yes, brussel sprouts have hit rock bottom.
AH: (Of course you know I am stealing/mashing up your banana tree report and your posts about your own dogs. Sorry about that, but I have no scruples. I am scrupleless.
Deb: Get a dog! I love mine to pieces.
Joanne: Not new. We've had her a few years. We are all very partial to her.
Rois: Scout just pins you down and glares at you.
Daisy: We are dense!
Star: Cute story, poor thing.
Amazing report.
And what a little cutie.
:-D Such a sweet dog!!! Lovely!
Very funny--
As I'm reading this, our Daisy dog has been bouncing around the house, barking at her Pop cause he put his shoes and hat on...she knows it's the weekend and that this means it's just about time for weekend errands!!!
I love Scout.
