Overheard last night. Pasadena, California.Santa to two young girls:
"Listen to your parents. Do what they say--the first time. Don't make them ask you again. If you don't do what your parents ask, you're going to get grounded--or worse! Then you'll get on the naughty list. Believe me: you DON'T want to get on the naughty list. Now, you seem like nice girls. Are you nice girls? Good. Cause you DO NOT want to get on the naughty list."
Here's hoping you're not on the naughty list.

Tommy barked for hours last night. He is definitely on the naughty list, but then, you can't blame him for getting excited when Santa landed on the roof.
